Job options

Project manager
The work as project manager at VA-Ingenjörerna is an independent and varied job. Our projects normally involves increasing the performance of existing municipal water and wastewater treatment plants, but it can also be redesigning of new water and sewage treatment plants. Our project managers work from sales to commissioning and therefore they need to find it stimulating to do business. They should have customer focus and have a burning interest to run challenging and complex projects together with skilled colleagues.

Education: MSc in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or equivalent experience.

Process engineer
As a process engineer at VA-Ingenjörerna you will be part of our process team and work in our many different projects. Our projects normally involves increasing the performance of existing municipal water and wastewater treatment plants, but it can also be redesigning of new water and sewage treatment plants. You will work with process design, process calculations and control strategies. You will also participate in quotation presentation and technical support in contract negotiations. As process engineer you will follow the project from sales meeting during process start up until we handover the completed facility.

Education: MSc in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering or Chemistry, or equivalent experience.

Mechanical engineer
As a design engineer at VA-Ingenjörerna you will be part of our design team and work in our different projects. You will work closely with our project managers and process engineers to design the best possible solution for each customer. In your role as designer you will work from the very first phase of quotation and then follow the project to finalization . Our projects normally involves increasing the performance of existing municipal water and wastewater treatment plants, but it can also be redesigning of new water and sewage treatment plants. 

Education: BSc or MSc in Mechanical Engineering

AnoxKaldnes

The core of AnoxKaldnes’ business is biological wastewater treatment based on the MBBR technology, R&D and microscopy services.

Job options

Sales engineer
As a Sales Engineer at AnoxKaldnes you are responsible for the development and performance of all sales/design activities in assigned market. You attain direct sales strategy within the region and provide leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values. You analyse customer needs and prepare action plans for effective search of sales leads and prospects. You are responsible for training and development of business units.

Education: BSc or MSc in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering or Chemistry, or equivalent experience.

R&D Engineer
As a R&D Engineer at AnoxKaldnes you will have an active role in several different R&D projects.  You will be responsible for the daily operation and maintenance as well as follow up of the performance of pilot and laboratory tests. The planning of project activities will be done in the project team where we trust that you will take an active role.

Education: MSc in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering or Biotechnology, or equivalent experience.

Hydrotech

Hydrotech develops and manufactures high-performance microscreening filters for suspended solids removal.

Job options

Sales engineer
As a sales engineer, you have an active role in Hydrotech's sales efforts by creating marketable technology solutions for customer-specific projects. You give advice and guidance to our customers about how Hydrotech's products should be applied to ensure the best overall solution. You will actively participate in sales / marketing through exhibitions and visits to distributors and customers.

Education: BSc or MSc in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.

Mechanical engineer
A main part of your work as a mechanical engineer at Hydrotech is to create drawings and production material to our manufacturing units. You will also create drawings and help out with technical questions from our customers and to customize our filter models to suit customer needs. You will be working with troubleshooting connected to both internal manufacturing and external customer sites. As a mechanical engineer at Hydrotech you will be part of the process from sales to final inspection.

Education: BSc or MSc in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.

Process engineer
The process team main tasks are to perform jar-tests, pilot tests and full-scale tests to optimize the use of Hydrotech’s products for different applications. They also demonstrate the process efficiency to potential clients, as well as produce design guidelines based on the results of these tests. The team is also in charge of providing process support to the sales team in the form of process design and evaluation of guarantees. Finally the team is focusing on developing new applications for the products, either by applying some changes in the product itself or by combining it with other processes.

Education: MSc in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering or Biotechnology, or equivalent experience
